I like that one. I guess that's another one for the Haruna hair style thread....

That's pretty much that same silver ash color she's had since October~

Hrm.

In this picture, it looks less blonde than most of the other pictures I've seen and in the Image video...

I guess it's just a matter of lighting? Or am I just a guy who completely misunderstands the subtleties of lady's hair coloring?

I'm afraid it's more of the latter haha The thing about any ash hair color is that it fades super quickly--it starts to really fade from the first time you wash it and can be completely gone within a few weeks. The "blonde" color that you see in other pictures/videos is the ash color (toner color) fading and the color of her bleached hair (base color) coming through.

Ah, ok, I get it. I did know that women with dark hair have to bleach it in order to get the lighter, brighter colors to work. I didn't realize the ash colors came out so quickly...honestly, didn't know anything about ash colors at all.


Though, I actually like both looks for her (the ash and the underlying blonde); I think both work for her.


Edit: I just considered something. Based on what you said about the ash colors (and with the bright colors that Mami has been using for several years), it's likely they'll probably have to get their hair re-colored multiple times during their tour. Even more things a band has to worry about while on a world tour.

I'm just really confused right now oh well, i dont really need to understand...i guess...
