Anyone listen to bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots and other bands like that? This is the stuff I grew up with and I love it~ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

yo, you forgot Sonic Youth! And yes I wore flannel. I believe Garbage is also somewhat considered grunge as well.

The current line-up of AIC rocked when I saw them live last year. I might see STP later this year and post some pics here.

Yeah I guess I did miss a few bands... I saw Foo Fighters, their singer was the drummer for Nirvana~ But yeah, I'd love to see Alice in Chains if they'd ever come to Charlotte...

I grew up wearing flannels over white shirts, jorts, Chuck Taylors or Doc Martens. My fave grunge bands are Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Dishwalla, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Silverchair, and Veruca Salt.

One of the grunge icons has passed away last December 3rd.

He was Scott Weiland, the former vocalist of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. Hope that several j-rock artists including SCANDAL will pay tribute to him. Weiland was 48.
