I know everyone here especially those based in SG or making their way here next week for the girls concert.

But while we can get high into the concert mood, here are some pointers especially for those who are attending concert for the very first time.

1.) Lightsticks. Don't be over ambitious in getting the girls attention and bring down a big whooping lightstick or those over bright ones. Who knows if you are going to hurt someone or worse, let fly these lightsticks over to the stage. It has happened before and I certainly do not want this to happen next Friday & Saturday.

Those Lumica ultra brights are fine as these are the standard items used in concerts in Japan as well.

2.) No shouting during MC parts. Time to time, pending on their set list, there are some MC segments where they will not be performing, but talking to the audience which is you people. Again, don't get over excited, let them say their part. Don't over zealously shout their names when they are trying to talk to you guys. It is rude, and makes them forget whatever they wanted to say.

3.) Stick to your seats. Last year during AFA, just when the crew were setting up for SCANDAL, fans flocked all the way to the front. What's the point of having seats when the audience will just ditch it rushing to the front. If you are already allocated to that seat number, or assigned to you. Stick with it. Spare a thought to the fans at the front.

4.) Most important of all, obey the rules & regulations set by the organisers and/or venue holders. If they had announced or published that no photography/video graphing and/or recording is allowed, please stick to it. No point trying to take some unglam shots while hiding from the organisers view. You paid for the concert, just enjoy it and keep the wonderful memories in your head.

That's all I have to say, if you guys think that I am typing a wall of bull so be it. Some of the senior SG members will know what I am typing about. This is just things to take note so that everyone's concert experience will be an enjoyable and void of unwanted incidents.

Nice post, maybe u should post it in the SG tour thread too.
I've been to a few concerts and i'm really fed up when ppl stand or worse stand on their seats, no consideration at all.

Thanks ken, sad to say i was one of those gits who wanted to flock the front during last year's AFA... .whistle.

and I think it should be added that don't go nuts if they throw something off the stage, say a pick or a canta plushie and end up causing chaos yeah... doubt people will do that but... just in case.

@syl000 you mean to say you sit down during concerts? O.o most people would be jumping to the songs and singing along. give it a try :D

Have a great one guys!

No photography/videography during the concert.
Unless the staff states otherwise, it is usually forbidden to take photos/videos during a concert.
While it is tempting to take photographs of the girls rocking out, I hope we can respect the girls and the staff and just enjoy the concert.

No choice but to stand when ppl in front does so... Standing up is ok but standing on chairs is a .tsk.
I know it can be exciting and ppl get overly high at times, saw ppl rushing to the front of the stage in a swarm, in the end the scene was very chaotic.

Although it definitely will be helpful if someone does provide directions... .hmmm.

Unless you are watching a play, theatre or musical performance, you usually stand up and dance to the music.

Thanks. I'll be staying near Little India so I supposed its not too far then.

Anyway... I would like to add that those who are bringing sign boards not to lift them up too often otherwise those standing behind can't see.

Thanks for the useful info, my second time going for a live concert and the first time was a Muse concert, so it probably has quite a different atmosphere.

I assume we can still stand up to rock out during the songs, right? Wink

Thanks for stating these stuff.
Queuing should start around 6 -7 and since there are $75 and $90 seats , no idea how management gonna line us up.
Also , in the concert , we are most probably allowed to stand up and rock out . Just don't get too hyper .

thanks for putting this up! I hope this would really help as its pretty irritating to have people crowding around in the front just to see them and of course, respect is very important. This also does influence the way they look at singaporean fans don't it?

Little India? Hee Hee... That means probably you can just walk to the Concert Venue. I'm new on the forum so I can't post links. Just search 1 McNally St, Rochor, Singapore 187940 on Google maps.
