They're pretty far from a Worldwide tour, I think.

They need to establish a fan base everywhere, and especially in Japan.

I would think after they perform at a big stage, like Tokyo Dome, Budoukan or Yoyogi, they could start, but even thats pushing it.

I just hope they come to the US for some convention or something, thats probably the closest thing we have to a world tour right now

It would be cool if they did that again, yes. If they come to Seattle again I would certainly try to be there.

A world tour though... I think they're not quite there yet. But at least they're doing lots of lives, including some overseas, and they also seem to be selling a lot of records lately. I'd like to know how the mini album is selling... They are on the way up, and if it comes to where they can do a world tour, that would be so awesome

Unlikely to happen in the near future. They don't have nearly enough fanbase to generate enough money to make up for the costs.

World tour? Not so soon. Regional East Asia/South East Asia tour? More likely judging from their very successful showing at AFAX Anisong.

I really hope they do come down. Together, us SEA fans can make their shows in the region the loudest gigs they'll ever play.

I agree with some of you, it will, most likely, happen in the future. They're new artists, and it's going to take a while before they go and have a world tour. Sure they already have fans in most continents, but still, they have to develop a solid fanbase in Japan and then in near countries. Though I must say, if they ever do suddenly become very known all over the world and have a world tour, I'm gonna go crazy in their concert!!! IT WOULD BE THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!! .toj.

I would like to Scandal in germany.
But i think it will not be so..waaa.
The music is ok,but the language and the high voice of the singing are to special for the european listener .
For me it sounds like heaven.
The music of Scandal make me happy.

if Scandal were to have a world tour, their first stop will be Singapore. Then their first song would be Namida no Rigureto (Tears of Regret) -- because during AFAX concert they didn't give an encore due to time constraint but they stated they would have wanted to give one

Then Singapore will be the first country to kick off Scandal's Asia Tour which'll also include Malaysia, Philippines, etc...

I also hope there is an Asia tour but they need to establish more fanbase...i believe 1st of all sell their CD around Asia 1st, or promote a lot of place......

in Japan,

I think some long-time members of this forum should be awarded
to provide official English website or They can make something like this:

1) Create regular portal.
2) Do really good promotion, along with running this forum
3) Gain status of official English portal.


Fans of other bands did it - and it worked.

I remember the most mature of all communications with fans:

1) Dido - She started her account on official forum and answered
to fans, even to pure idiots
2) Fred Durst (Limp Bizkits) - everyday chat with people, not only fans,
about every topic - social, what's going on in Your country, etc.

It probably won't happen, the international market for J-pop and J-rock bands like SCANDAL is just too small. I hope I'm wrong though, I really hope I am.

I think a lot of you are selling SCANDAL pretty short. They are popular enough in the anime community to do a small tour of the US and maybe Brazil. If they can coordinate with the summer anime conventions I think they can be successful but unfortunately that would be their only connection. We saw their success in Seattle and Paris when they were nobodys. Stereopony played the New York anime convention this past summer and they aren't quite the status of SCANDAL. I think if SONY can "pony up the dough" for that then it;s not so far fetched for a SCANDAL anime convention tour.

Sad that MySpace died out, as that seemed to be SCANDAL's biggest channel for communicating with global fans. They also seem to be deeply engrossed in the Japan-side marketing and TV appearances. Doubtful for this year (especially since the fall tour was already announced), but maybe next year they can focus on spreading their fame internationally.

International, not sure about that. But! They might be returning to the US in the upcoming months.

For music quality, of course they capable to do it even now... But they lack in promotion in and out of countries. IMO for new single HARUKA, they did a good job for promoting better than a single before.

And why in japan they don't have fanbase as big as AKB48, i listen for AKB 48 once and i prefer SCANDAL more(sorry for AKB's fans)
