I haven't watched the latest episode yet but so far it was pretty good. It seems darker than the usual "run-of-the-mill" shounen anime and I like the setting.

Unfortunately my impatience has led me into reading the manga and the story progression feels kinda odd... Shingeki no Kyojin 591571

Now I'm really curious about how they plan to realize the story in the anime.

I was actually thinking of picking this up.

I just fear that it might disappoint me like what Sword Art Online did for me.

So far into the series, is it good?

the story is kind of more violence and bloodier than your usual shounen type of anime but it is definitely worth to watch. Highly recommended Nice one

From all these responses, I get the feeling that I won't be disappointed!

I'll just wait a little longer... I need to finish what's left on my list before I start a new one.

Plot summary: The setting is a fortified city with three walls built fifty meters high and arranged in large concentric circles. This is the last bastion for all that remains of humanity; more specifically Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlelt. As part of the military, they are charged with protecting the populace even if it costs them their lives.

I read it in manga and watch its episode at the same time.

Nice Anime and Manga. Though I really think the story gets weirder and more mysterious.
I'm dying for the coming episodes and chapters.

Sincerely, I was hoping for more of the despair-like atmosphere it had in its first episodes. I loved the idea of the giants being like natural disasters, there was nothing to do about them except fearing them.

But... wait, spoilers.

...

Superpowers?! Really? The 3D maneuver equipment is awesome, they could explore more of it, instead of this giant vs giant thing. Actually, if the characters had superpowers, it would be less weird than Eren becoming a giant. But I'm still watching anyway, to see where this leads to. If it becomes a new Sword Art Online, I will drop it, but I don't think it will happen, there's no sign of Attack on Titan becoming Romeo and Juliet like SAO did.

No, really, don't open the following Spoiler tab unless you're okay with spoilers no matter how much.

Spoiler:

And that is how I, who barely watch animes, like how the current story is going. There are just a lot to expect.

I've been watching the anime and I really enjoy the series so far.
There seems to be quite a few plot twists, especially since I didn't expect Eren to become a titan.

It's a good series so far and I can't wait to see how the story progresses.

Well, I first heard about Shingeki no Kyojin by Daz, gala_LiannE08, and Mewithoutyou93 on ShoutBox. They were talking about it once and I didn't know what they were exactly talking about so I gave SB the silent treatment. Hahaha! It was by then my cousin stayed here for his whole summer break from school and he asked me if I watched or knew about Shingeki no Kyojin. I told him I never knew what it was because I never really bothered to search it, but then I began to be curious because everyone around me seems to be talking about it.. (I didn't know it was mainstream at that time xD) so I watched it on the other forum I belong to.

I must say that I really liked it the first time I saw it. Each episode is packed with suspense on the first few episodes, but the downside is due to the fact that it's still an ongoing anime, it gets difficult not to mention impatient to wait for updates, especially because the pacing of the anime is very slow. Oftentimes there isn't much progress on one episode, but it's okay I guess.. because I wouldn't like the pacing to be too fast either. What I like about it is the suspense, so I acquiesce.. I just have to deal with my impatience. xD I'm pretty sure the others are dealing with it too. .whistle.

At first I thought it looks like an old anime...
But i was wrong this anime is really cool, the first thing that It make it cool is bcoz of their gears that they are using during the fight!! and the TITANS creeppyyyyy, with no reproductive organs haha!

I love MIKASA...she is brilliant Happy

And reallyy the episode 24 is intense..Annie grrrrr...whats her goal at all? Ill try to read the manga of it..

I will really wait for the Season 2 of this anime..wooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh
