I think a lot of people expectations are too high. Seeing "hasn't played a great game yet" is a bit strange to be honest.

In the last years Spain played an almost perfect football with ball control, superb defense and good attack and now a lot of people want each team to be "perfect". That's not how football usually is, you cannot run over every team and win 4-0 while playing an amazing football ^^ What Spain did in the last years is amazing and they might go down in history as the best national team ever.

you didn't get me... Spain won the last Euro cup 2012, but in the semi-finals they were not that good, just defeat Portugal in penaltiess, if a team deserved the win it was Portugal. And Italy beat Germany 2-0 and playing a great game, before the finals if you told a favorite, it would be Italy... Spain won 4-0 over Italy  


I'm just saying the games they got a lot of goals, there was no game. There's no favorite for a final, even though Germany looks stronger. I'm just saying it. if Argentina hasn't played that good to be a favorite, it's the same for Germany.

Everyone is dismissing Argentina and already declaring Germany world champions, well, I'm gonna sit here and say that Argentina are going to win, in a penalty shoot out. Let's see how it goes and good luck to both teams.

What a boring game. Bad referee and very bad brazilian play. Didn't expect any kind of firework, but this game was simply lame. Had the feeling that the brazilians weren't able to show a better attacking game than that  .silence.

Well congrats Germany, a well deserved win if we talk about the whole tourney. Tonight it was 50/50, Argentina played really good but couldn't score... And in the end Germany did it. They needed a great Messi but he wasn't there. (btw Messi best player of tourney, is that a joke lol? oh FIFA...)

Argentina played better each game and they really had a chance to win but they missed their chances.
Argentina can be proud of their team and tourney.

I'm happy Germany won, this generation is really good and their results have been very consistent since 2006. The team has weaknesses but in the end they made the difference and could resist with Neuer.

Don't expect anything new from Brazil. They play to win, I mean they just use counter-attacking game... do not try to create chances. It's the same as 2010 World Cup, same coach, same tactics, same result (for me). Still depends of Neymar, can't play or create anything without him.

Just call-up velocist players. Germany, Spain or Argentina will win this in 2018 and 2022. You can write it XD

We have players such as Felipe Anderson, Gerson, Malcom, Gabriel, Paulo Henrique Ganso, Ricardo Goulart, Everton Ribeiro, Valdívia, Lucas Lima, , Raffael, Geuvânio (just attacking players) but Dunga prefers calling Shakhtar players... and it pisses me off, that's why I said Brazil won't win, but telling the truth, I don't want Brazil to win playing this kind of soccer.

What if Neymar is not in a good day or injured and the other team is playing with a defensive tactic that doesn't really allow counter-attacks? we already saw what will happen in last world cup...

Some of the players you said are too young and are not playing on the level to have a chance at the national team, but they are a good option for the olympic team. Nathan, Erik, Rodrigo Dourado, William, Geferson are another good players with olympic age.

Lucas Lima is a guy with a lot of competition, is hard to him get a chance, Borussia's Raffael is a good option for the attack, he could be a good bench to Firmino, both Felipe Andershow and Éverton were called for the next friendlies.

okay, I got your point... but are Douglas Costa, Shakhtar's Fred, Souza, Elias and Luiz Adriano playing in a high level? for example, Jonas and Ganso can replace them... Jonas is having a better season than Luiz Adriano and Diego Tardelli, muuuuuch better. And I don't know what Ganso has to do to deserve a call-up... people judge him for based on a bad Paulistão, but what about last Brasileirão? what a waste of talent and he's already 25, if not now, when is his chance? You are right in everything you said, even that I'm not a fan of PH Ganso, he really should get an opportunity in a friendly, when he went to the national team back in 2010, he played very well, was a great exhibition for him in that win against USA.

Douglas Costa is a very overrated player, who is trying to get sell to a big club, last year, he was scouted by Chelsea, but Shakhtar asked high for him, I think his convocation is more a business thing than anything else.

about Ganso, I think people expect him to score 10 goals in 10 games when he's not even a goalscorer like Oscar '-' People talk about Ganso of Santos, but he had Neymar with him there... in São Paulo, he has to solve every game if not, he's criticized. He can shine even more with players of the quality of Neymar, Coutinho, Oscar, Willian and Firmino in the national team.
As for defensive midfielders, Dunga keeps on calling Elias and Fernandinho when he has Lucas Silva and Anderson Talisca... I'm looking forward to seeing Brazil lose Copa America XD

Hernanes is much better than him and never is called. What you have against Fernandinho?  He isn't a bad player, and Talisca isn't a defensive player.

just because Elias played 5 good games with Corinthians in Libertadores, he's being called :v Fernandinho is not ideal for me because the 4 defensive midfielders would be the same, with the same kind of playing. That's the main reason, Talisca can make the team more aggresive if needed and is used to playing as second defensive midfielder.

It seems like Inter will give a lot of players to the national team in the next years lol even though I haven't watched a game of them this season, but I've been reading good things about Rodrigo Dourado, Valdívia, and Geferson. Hopefully they will keep playing that well a lot of time.

In the youth team has a player called Andrigo who was scouted by Barcelona and Manchester United, but he denied any offer cuz he wanted to play for Inter.

Inter and Santos are the best to promote young players, but there's Fluminense and Palmeiras too even though they are not in the same level... Fluminense promoted Kenedy and Gerson while Palmeiras Gabriel Jesus, João Pedro and Nathan (the center back).
