I'm still a little lost, though... Say I made 12 posts already in Fun Corner. Does it mean that within the next two hours, I can't post anywhere? Or I can still post in SCANDAL Talk or Member Discussion but not yet in Fun Corner? :s

^ from what i understand is yes, you can still post in any other forums even if your fun corner has been reached.

every link that you see on the main page, like SCANDAL Talk and Fun Corner is considered a main forum, and whatever forums that you find inside these links are subforums, for example inside the main forum "SCANDAL gallery" you can find subforums like Blog, Live, Magazine etc.

the catch is that the total number of posts you can make in each main forum is 12 every 2 hours. for example, within SCANDAL gallery, you can post 6 times in blog, 4 times in Live and 2 times in Magazine, which adds up to 12 in total for SCANDAL gallery.

if i didn't misinterpret anything wrongly, you are still able to post, for example, 12 each in SCANDAL News, Fun Corner, Say Hello etc, as these comes the main forum section. Just refrain from spamming too much.

Btw good job to the admins for implementing this, I've also been realising a much higher number of old topics being revived for no reason by newer members and I've been hoping to see something done about it. In fact I think this was the reason I've overlooked this update for so long.

I think you could just explain that main forums are links that can be found on the main page of SH or something like that.

To answer kylelaluces's question,yes you can post 12 posts in the Fun Corner,and then go on to post another 12 in Say Hello,and then another 12 in SCANDAL Talk,and another 12 in...You get the idea.

You can post 12 posts in SCANDAL Talk,Gallery,Poll Section etc etc each.

But in forums such as SCANDAL Gallery,where the Gallery divides into Blog-Live-Magazine-etcetc,the sum of your posts in these forums may only add up to 12 posts within 2 hours.

Eg.

Blog-2 posts
Magazine-5 posts
Live-5 posts

Total-12 posts in SCANDAL Gallery.This is correct.


However,if there are

Blog-10 posts
Live-12 posts
Magazine-12 posts

Total-34 posts in SCANDAL Gallery.

spammer crown... way funny... almost made me laugh... good thing someone has told me to read the rules ('coz i actually don't have intention reading it/peace peace!just being honest) maybe he/she noticed the way i post... using much emoticons... but just to ask.... 'was my post also included as spam the way i do it?' i mean, i luv using emoticons and i read (if i'm not gotten wrong) oh guess not here but somewhere regarding the rules; using of more than 2 emoticons continuously.. (quite confused... continuously as in continuously right?? i have atleast words parting it... lol) i'm using emoticons for some of my every sentences (i actually want to insert one again here...lol XD) was it??

@ghelilayxmami: Hi ghelilay! It appears that one of your posts have been marked as SPAM once(looking at your SPAM status bar), but when looking at your post history, I didnt see anything with the colored SPAM marker. Did you delete/edit that post perhaps? If you did, then that's actually a fairly serious offense to the SPAM rules(See first post of this thread).

And yes, a post that is HEAVILY weighted with smilies/emoticons or with continuous use of them (at least 2-3+ in a row) can be considered SPAM, if I recall correctly.

Wow, this is the first forum that I've ever registered that is strict and organized with spammers. I had to read the 12-post thing several times to get it

well uhm my spam alert level was a spammer.... i didn't know what i did.. i reviewed all my posts and i didn't see some spam warnings.... and besides i only have 10 posts, plus this one.. I really don't know what i did, and how can this be? i didn't receive a spam alert anyway...help please, and explain?

Your spam posts were probably deleted already. That said, your spammer level has been restarted to green.

From what I understand, you seem to be talking about making multiple posts consecutively or "in-a-row". This is the way I watch over things but, if the next planned post would come close to the one of the first post, say 3-4 days max, I'd prefer making an edit to your first post. Recent examples of me doing this are in the Hockey and League of Legends threads.
It obviously doesnt show a new-post alert on the home page, but email and top-bar notifications should still reach out to people that have those options enabled.

Otherwise if the last post you made is fairly old, then the next RELEVANT (keyword here!) post you make afterwards can be made right after the older one.

hi ! i want to make sure i understood, so i have a question : i thanked basically all posts from thoseguiltyeyes' Fuzzy Summer Mood gallery, i was quite enthusiastic about finding so many high quality photos you see x)... and i wondered if thanking 16 posts in around 48 hours could be considered as spam ? if that's the case, then i'm truly sorry about that and will pay attention to contain my enthusiasm in the future hahaha
