im only in Colongne... but its not the best city -.- hotels cost too much (all over 100€ for one night... what the hell...)

mybe its the last Concert for me ... its always on the Top of Germany and its too much money for a concert (the tickets have a great price... but the Hotel price is pervers...)

i have see the tickets was not sold out... and i think the concert was not full... maybe 40 people...

Are there any Airbnb flats in Cologne ? 
It depends on the place, but you probably can find someting cheaper and convenient for a few days.
Last summer I stayed a few days in London (quite expensive city too), and I was able to stay in a room for 33 euros for one night. It was quite a good deal !

I'm going to Vienna too. It'll be my first ever trip to Austria.

Just need to know - I don't speak German, and I'm not sure if English is widely spoken there. I don't mean to offend - but English proficiency varies in different European countries. I do have a Lonely Planet book which lists a few basic German phrases to get by, but was just wondering if I get really stuck whether or not Austrians don't mind me speaking in English!

I found a hostel near the cologne train station which is quite cheap (~40 Euro for a single room with own shower).
Prices go through the roof if there is a convention of any kind, which appears to be part of the problem on that specific date. Sadly, this seems to be the case every time I have to go to cologne.

Im going to Amsterdam and Paris.  I might have a terrible jetlag during the Paris show, ´cause the morgning after the show in Amsterdam I´m going on a holiday to Tokyo. I´ll be back on the 21st, fly to paris on the 24th and back on the 26th.

Thinking about getting a VIP ticked, does anyone know if aside from the listed privileges (hi-touch etc. ) there will also be separated areas for people with VIP and normal tickets?

The separation will only be at the queue - obviously to facilitate early entry. And we get to go the actual hall earlier than the standard tix holders too so as to secure a place as close to the stage as possible. All will be done on a queue system - so if you are in the queue early, you can be at the front row.

Technically, there's no stopping anyone pushing to the front (which is common but not very nice) but at the 2015 gig, I think everyone was cool with where they were in the hall and no one was being unreasonable.
