HMV Japan is run by Lawson, hence you usually see the same promotions for both stores here, so a little different to the ones in blighty.

Talking of which Tower Records Japan independant and in owned majority owned by NTT Docomo/7-11 here, hence the various Docomo promotions in the store.

We have HMV in Canada...record stores have almost all been disappearing...thankfully they still remain...would love to have Scandal here as well Happy

Vinyl has made a big come back in the UK, last year more vinyl copes of albums were sold than downloads,
Our High street that three store that sell it and Argos sells record decks.

I am hearing more and more people getting back into records as well @tonymiller ...I have heard it is what true audiophiles enjoy...my experience with records, probably would not have me going back that route...I always found it sounded the best the first time played and then went downhill from there.

Not if you use a decent record deck and look after your records, I bought my first record in 1959 and it still plays !
