I think they were still filming when the earthquake hit.
Being Perfume and the music they produce, requiring a lot of electricity for their PV, I dont think they could continue filming, or wanted to, for that matter

Ok, been gone for waaaay too long.
Perfume was in LA on June 18th for the premier of Cars 2 in LA, I was in Arizona at the time and couldnt see them
But there were Perfume fans there to greet them, so I thank them for their dedication in supporting them
So I did watch Cars 2, ok movie, too much stereotypical red neck jokes with Mater.
Anywho, I went to a casino to watch it on opening day, in Vegas, fun nonetheless.
Now, they have a new CM song with Kirin, again, entitled: "Glitter."
In all honesty though, I think I like "Glitter" more than "Laser Beam," just because the beginning annoys me

perfume is good band i always liked that robotic techno music they are kinda both techno and pop so i find them to be cool

I've kinda been interested in some of their music for close to a year, like "Spending All My Time" and "Spring of Life," but I didn't actually start listening to their music until about a month ago. Until then, they've kinda been at the back of my mind and I thought "maybe I should give some of their songs a listen"...so I did. I was more of a rock/ punk music kind of person, but I started getting into more pop, so their music kinda fit right in with things I've been listening to.

I'm going to see them in NYC in a month or so. Bad seats, but whatever. I always think of the fact that bad seats to a show they play in NYC would be crazy *good* seats at most of their shows in Japan. The venue is just so much smaller.
I've never seen them live before but in the videos I've seen they always have a really big stage to dance on. I'm wondering how that's going to translate to a small venue like the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Exactly. Their sets on their Japanese arena tours are pretty epic.
The last time Perfume played London (nope, couldn't go) was at a venue called the Shepherd's Bush Empire which is much smaller (I saw the Soundgarden reunion gig there a few years' back, and I do hope SCANDAL chooses the Empire as their London venue for next year)!
