I'll take the discussion so far as a brainstorm session, so I'll just voice out what I thought could be a possible gift; it's just an idea, I'm not even thinking if it'll work, so please just read with a pinch of salt.

Regarding making of the gift, maybe ppl of SH could all do a simple video of yourself saying something to SCANDAL, and someone will have to stitch them or video edit them into a short clip to present to SCANDAL. Of course, with so many ppl in SH, not everyone will get the screen time, but than again, it depends on ultimately who and how many volunteer their own videos into the project. Or something along this line.

How about for the group project, we make a collage of their faces (or a poster of them 4) using different pictures we have collected...although we might seem like stalkers like that.

Yeah, think about it. Do you really want to someone to send you lots of pictures of yourself? I wouldn't. Far better gift to get pictures, video clips and messages of your fans.

The video clip thing is a good idea.

I think I got a couple of late letters, plus my own, makes it 143 at the end.

Well, if we grow 43% like this every year... that means that in 2025 we should be able to send them 21382 letters !!!

Ah, well then...Maybe later members by country can get together and make a video clip message for SCANDAL. We need to plan this later...XD

Also, by 2025, a lot of us would be going to Japan to see SCANDAL, so mrmonkey wont be alone in doing that.

I agree ... presenting something more personal, which You've worked on,
like comic or music cover, can be more convincing.

but it doesn't necessary has to be something with commonly regarded "art".

Those can be even simple words hand written e.g.
"You know, I hated books and newspapers, but looking how You,
Rina and Tomomi are fascinated about it, have it everyday,
... I reconsidered it ... and You know ... I'm studying to be journalist."

Could do something like they did on YUI-Lover,
Make a CD of cover songs of SCANDAL performed by us, then gift it to them.
It takes a lot of effort, but I think SCANDAL will appreciate it, and will notice our efforts.

Ah, silly me. I was looking at the "live" page....

I have been thinking whether buying gifts or self-made stuffs...

Buying gifts, especially like PSP, NDS, Ipad etc... Personally, I feel it will be quite wasted. Best is to make something for them from our heart.. At the very least, show them that you have spend effort in making something for them. That, I think, they always wanted from their fans, giving support for them. Just like writing personal letters rather than email-ing or smsing...

I'm not sure this gonna be a good idea, but I got this idea from my camp last time. A group of juniors drew out cartoon characters and wrote their wishes and thought for their leader. And after which, they frame it up nicely in a rectangle wood frame. Maybe this can be happen to this scenario as well.

But it will be very costly due to postage and weight, nevertheless it will shows the amount of effort given by their fans.

aw I feel really bad I didn't get to include mine I was really close to finishing it, then I lost my internet connection for like an entire week, and in that week was the deadline for the fanletter project, so I missed it

I guess I'll save it for the next one. Then I'll have at least 2 letters to contribute.

Really great idea! I guess it is amazing to recieve such a present from your fans.
And, I think, it isn't impossible for SH members.
