language forum is where people start learning other language like indonesian, japanese, etc....
if u guys can make it, i handle the indonesian one.....

taking advantage of the idea, I have another suggestion
make sections for different countrys
i mean, the forum is all in english, but the minority of my country speak english
and I think this is the reality of the other South countrys
so, why don't make a section for each important country and language in the continents
Ex.: south america:A brazilian section in portuguese and a Argentinean section in spanish
Asia: A japanese section and a Chinese section
I think this can make the forum even more internacional

P.S.: I'm not telling to translate all the forum into those languages, but make an area to discuss things in other languages(I Think I was clearer know!! >.<)

Nice idea but I've already thought about these sections and the problem was the management. I mean, how a moderator who speaks english can know if someone insults or don't respect the rules of the forum in other language?

we could add translation, im sure mod can trust us

this is simple!!
just chose a moderator who speaks also english and the subforum language
Ex.: If a brazilian subforum was created the moderator has to be someone who speaks english and portuguese
or people in the forum may indicate such infringements

^Yep but I do not think that currently there is a moderator who speaks english and portuguese, the only way would be to name a new moderator who will speak the 2 languages and maybe administrators don't want to name a new moderator

^ so, the way is trust in the users, open a thread where people can denounce such violations

Moreover it's will be better if we have a staff which speak all languages

it'll be good if we have one staff for each continent
it will be easier to support the fans outside europe and NorthAmerica

^ I doubt that is possible, imagine the size of the staff after that...Especially that the most spoken languages in America are also spoken in Europe, I think to Spanish and Portuguese.
It would already well to have a staff with persons who speak the most spoken languages in the world

I'll try to give my opinion in the matter here.

I think creating a sub-forum for a specific language region is not a bad idea (I've seen it in another forums) but I think that we would need a moderator from that language to be regulating those sections, we would have to get a lot of new mods and one does not simply become a mod just by speaking a language, its a matter of how you take care of the community and how trustworthy you are.

I thought, why not create a topic in the member discussion area? We have one for japanese right there!

Sadly, the teacher is inactive in the forums now, but, if you guys can make one similar thread wouldnt that be good enough? It wouldn't be to just randomly talk in that language but rather to help others that are trying to learn it. What do you guys think?

After about the languages forum, it would be better to know if some people are interested before to start one in some language, right?

if all people make a topic of their language, it must be at least 13 topics.....
and, if there are 13 topics about language, we can say that it's a language forum not a member discussion again right???

No, its different, you dont need new moderators for seprate threads within the Members discussion, threads can go there and the only way that mods can delete/edit posts that are in a different language is if they are reported by other members who understand that language, which I dont think would work very good...
