Has anybody else been watching this event? I will admit I'm not the biggest soccer fan in the world. I do like the sport and played it a little bit in the past, but this tournament has been so good. So far Japan is going too face Germany in the semifinals, and Nigeria is in the semifinals waiting for the winner of the game that's playing right now between Korea DPR and the USA. If you have been watching, what have you thought about the tournament, and who do you think will win?

Yeah Japan, Germany, and the USA all look too be strong. Nigeria from what I've seen they are good, but not on the level of the other three. I believe a Japan-USA final will happen. If it does it's a win/win for me. Being from the USA I would like too see them win, but I love Japan as well so if they win I will be happy for that as well.

Well if now the final is USA vs Japan, then this time it should be Japan who would be the winner ... but Germany is good and they are good for the final as well ...

Germany can definitely make the final, but like you just showed with the past major tournament results Japan and the USA have been pretty much dominating women's soccer. Germany did beat the USA in the group stage though, I believe the score was 4-1 or something like that.

Even at 0-3 the japanese fans weren´t sad at all, lets hope at least for a bronze for Japan : )

I don't think Ayu played in the semifinal against Germany at all. Japan got down really early in the game and I think it changed up a lot of the plans they had for which subs too use.

I'm looking forward too the two games this weekend though. They should both be good games. I'll be rooting for Japan too get 3rd, and USA too take 1st.

Thanks for the update! I ended up being quite busy this weekend and ended up missing the Finals and 3rd place game. I was a bit salty about missing them. Lol. Glad that both Japan and the USA won!
