I had better not watch that then as I cried over 'Paradise Kiss the movie" !
They changed the ending from the anime version but it is still really worth seeing.

Ip Man is really good, film from HK and original dub is in cantonese. Film is about the life of Ip Man, Bruce Lee's master.

Trailer

Now to my recommended film
Protégé 门徒 crime film. Film is about an undercover cop who spent 7 years trying to penetrate into a particular drug ring. From HK too and original dub is in cantonese.

Trailer

Can't seem to find any other better trailer with english sub.

Fish Story (2009)
Music:
Swing Girls (2004)
Horror:

@topic: Hey everyone, thank you for the movie recommendations. I will keep updating the list as you guys recommend more movies. Keep them coming Happy

Also. I made it so that you can click on the title and you can look at the movie information (Thanks for the idea Jigoku79). Enjoy!

Add another one, Yomigaeri (2003). This movie is like Nicole Kidman's The Others, but in another theme.. Recommended Foreign Films 628112

On the side note, here's the real fact behind Dare Mo Shiranai (Nobody Knows).

Just going through my shelf & PC. These are some of my recent favourite movies.

Action:
New Police Story (2004, China)
Uhm... Chinese action movie. Jackie Chan, Nicolas Tse,
Honestly, some parts may seem cheezy, but I loved this movie.

The Viral Factor (2012, China)
Featuring Jay Chou, & Nicolas Tse. Had decent reviews, but I'm not bothered by it. If you liked New Police Story, you will like this too.

War/Drama:
71: Into The Fire (2010, S.Korea)
Featuring T.O.P. (Choi Seunghyun), probably one of the greatest war movies I've seen since Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down. Seriously.

Horror:

Dark Water (2002, Japan)
Honestly, I haven't watched it yet. I bought it at Madman's DVD sale earlier in May, looked at the cover, removed the plastic, thought of putting it on, put it on my shelf, picked it up again a few hours later, put it back on my shelf, went to sleep, and had a nightmare. The reason I haven't watched it yet is mainly because I heard my friends say that it was
"S C A R Y - A S - H E L L".

[REC] (2007, Spain)
Watched it at 12am with headphones on and lights off. After the movie, needed to go to the toilet, and felt like I needed to turn on every single light on in my house just to do so.

[REC]2 (2009, Spain)
Again, watched it at 12am with headphones on and lights off. And again, after the movie, I needed to go to the toilet, but this time I was too afraid to leave my bedroom, so I just went to sleep.

"Boku no Kanojo wa Cyborg" or "Cyborg She" was a pretty good Japanese Sci-Fi/Romance type of movie.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyborg_She

It stars Keisuke Koide and Haruka Ayase.

The film was made into a manga a few months later.
