Wow I think SCANDAL sales has really gone down compared to the last years...

^ it would still be #9 or something if we take out all the cds which didn't come out on the 9/9 (that freaking Nogizaka46's cd was released on 22th july and still chart high every once and then too)

charts positions don't mean a thing when there are big names releasing stuff during the same week. we can say scandal are having lower sales when we'll have some numbers.

I Also Wonder Why The Full PV Of Sisters Is Not Up On Their Official YouTube Account Yet , I've Found The Full Somewhere Else But It's Easier To Play On YouTube Since The U.S. Can't Buy It.

I'm not too knowledgeable on charts or anything, but maybe it has to do with the fact that maybe everyone bought on the first day? Sisters placed as normal at 5th and 6 on the same time span it takes for any other single or album. Though, I'm not too sure.

I take everything I said about not liking this single. 
I now really like it after listening to the full version of the song. I'm not liking the B-side so much, but it is still good.

this is the first release since pinheel surfer that I didn't buy right away... still not sure if I'm going to but it... maybe I'll get it on itunes if it's available in canada

@Uldred I was struggling to order right away as well. Now that I listened to the songs multiple times, I am quite happy I did anyway. 
LIFE IS A JOURNEY really surprised me. It sort or reminded me of their earlier, more punkish sound. The speed-up right in the middle really caught me of guard  .boom.


Fact is, I had trouble liking most of the singles for HELLO WORLD right from the start as well...

First week total unit sales should be out really soon.


Honestly, it's interesting that Scandal is still holding onto a top 10 position when they're competing with super popular pop groups like three different parts of the AKB48 family (singles from AKB48, NMB48, and SKE48), as well as SMAP and J Soul Brothers.

So my guess was correct after all, that's really low, those are the units sold for the singles before an album, I cannot imagine how much will sell the next single

Unfortunately after Yoake no Ryuuseigun the sales for SCANDAL were extremely low. For singles, for DVD and for HELLO WORLD.

Well, I guess Yoake no Ryuuseigun had a lot additional sales due to the fact, that it was used in a Pokemon movie though. What about the sales before that? 

Gomen...for HELLO WORLD had very good sales.... Anyway let's hope that the sales will go higher

I mean, just looking at the videos of the crowds at Scandal's concerts indicate there are far more than 14,000 people interested enough in the band to spend money on them.

Unfortunately those details only Sony knows. But I also guess that the digital sales are pretty big . I wish Jpu to make available some details about digital sales in Europe

Something that makes me sad is the fact that SCANDAL is finally composing their music and they are having less sales instead of when others composers made their music.

Well, Hello World had great sales. Yoake had great sales only because it was a promotion for Pokemon, but everything seems like business as usual. I heard that they're still #9 on Oricon and contended with some really big artists. Though, Oricon, as I heard is only for physical copies, and as technological as Japan is, they'd surely shoot for a digital download.

It's really unlikely that Scandal alone bucks this trend.

CD sales in Japan has been decreasing overall for quite some time now. I do believe that digital is starting to take over there as well, but it's impossible to really know.
