Great setlist!

Cool to see songs like Houkago 1H or Koe in it! Shoujo S or Shunkan are probably not in because they will do like the live house I guess with the ENCORE and play their "signature" songs there an change each time. This time DOLL/BABY, next time 2 others or 1 other.

Weird to see STANDARD twice! As spacecadet says they maybe play it differently or added something? We know the song is perfect for lives so maybe the last one has a huge instrumental intro-outro or something, the first one is just the normal song to start the show. Or maybe someone else is the main singer? It's a pur SCANDAL song so maybe they want to do a lot with it =P

I doubt they play it in 2 parts, the song isn't that long and that would be a bit weird I think?

I think they gonna change setlist a little bit everytime like they did in the recent past, take out 1-2 songs so they can play many different songs.

Would be great if they do that to keep a separate list updated with each song they played :D

Well I was just throwing it out there as a possibility, but I could see them playing it in two parts. After the guitar solo, there is a series of beats that is exactly the same as the beats at the actual ending of the song. If they ended "part 1" there, it would sound natural and could serve as an introduction. Then at the end of the show, they could play the rest - maybe extended a bit with a repeat of one of the earlier verses, or an audience participation section (it's got the right beat for it).

It would be a little weird for those who know the song well to hear it end the first time just after the guitar solo, but they'd be satisfied at the end of the show. Especially now that the set list is out and people know it's coming - Scandal knows the internet exists and people will talk about the set list.

Anyway I have no idea if this is what they did, but it still only would make sense to me if there was something different about the first and second plays. They're not a band that doesn't have enough songs to fill out a set list...

KOE is what i want to hear the most for Live ver.. damn.. so lucky to be there in Japan

Nice to see Houkago 1H in the setlist. They haven't played this one in ages.

Looking closely at the setlist, I notice that the songs are grouped together in some kind of "theme" if you will. Koe - Metronome - Koi no Gestalt Houkai would some awesome played back to back.

Hachigatsu, Metronome, Koe, Weather report and Namida yo hikare! 18 songs AND a double encore!   Those lucky guys who are able to go! I wish I could go, too!

Oh there is clearly a good reason and for sure they are not short on songs =P Maybe you are right about the 2 parts.

Could they ask the public what song they want to hear and they all screamed "STANDARD"? I doubt it but playing it twice is so mysterious now I want to know why xD

Anyone know if they did full songs or how long the first show was?  I'm just a little worried I might miss the last train back to my hotel.

It went from around 6:00-8:20 pm, so 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Some things I've found out so far about the first show:

-Apparently the second "STANDARD" was actually tied into "Namida yo Hikare." Not quite sure what that means, but maybe they might have ended the song with a part from "STANDARD"?

-Seems like HARU sang into a megaphone at the beginning of "Koi no Gestalt Houkai."

-People are saying MAMI has a new blue guitar. Someone thinks it might be a Gibson Les Paul.

-Not quite sure they did a "double" encore since it'd be weird for them to just do one encore song, go backstage, and then come back out. I've heard they did "24 Jikan Plus no Yoake Mae," had an MC, and then did the other 2 songs. That's what they normally do anyway, and that seems more likely than them doing a supposed double encore. Well, let's see what they'll do tonight at the second show.

Eek, the Nagoya show starts at 7pm and the last train my JR pass covers leaves at 9:07pm.  This pass is turning out to be quite the extreme bust.  Time to weigh some more options.  Thanks for the info!

why where is your hotel?

Well you have a few options.
You can either leave early (which would be a waste)
or spend the night in Nagoya, 
or take another train..

I checked for tickets for the Nagoya concert and they were already gone. huhuhu I thought I won't be able to arrive at the venue after work if but I tried going to the venue yesterday and I arrive exactly at 7pm. lol. Anyway good luck to the people going to the concert. Its going to be a rainy day.

Edit: It seems that set list was in fact wrong because some people that went said that they did not play "Shunkan Sentimental" nor "HARUKAZE." I'll be removing it until a reliable, accurate set list is posted by someone who actually went to the show.

For the Namida yo Hikare~~STANDARD maybe they just play the end of STANDARD? They play Namida Yo Hikare then instead of ending it they make an instrumental transition to the final part of STANDARD where they scream and so HARU can sing "What's your STANDARD?!" to officially finish the show? (yes there is an Encore after)

No wonder Rina said whenever they prepare for tour, buying new instruments is the first thing came to their mind haha!

@Af8!: She doesn't actually list the source from where she got the info, but I'm guessing she found it on one of the popular Japanese SCANDAL fan blogs (they posted same one about 10+ hours ago, which was before hers), who aren't even 100% sure if it's correct or not.

So it looks like they won't play SCANDAL IN THE HOUSE. Well, they could replace a song later but I doubt it. I actually hoped they would play it at all lives, as part of the new album even if it is a b-side and very special.
