I'm not really very keen on LIFE IS A JOURNEY right now and I think it's for the same reason I've seen others say as well. The music is great and I really like the song but Tomomi's vocals are kind of getting to me. They sound higher than normal and it feels kind of weird to hear her voice like that. It's taking away a lot of the song from me.
I had the same reaction with Nai Nai Night at first though and while I still don't exactly love the song, I can say that I really do like it. So I'll probably like LIFE IS A JOURNEY after a while of getting used to Timo's vocals on the track~ =^.^=

There is only ONE poster that will be offered, and that's the second picture with "SAMPLE" written on it. The first picture depicts a not-for-sale poster that Tower Records will only have on display in stores.
Ideally, if you go to one of those participating 22 Tower stores when the single's out, you should be able to get a poster while supplies last.

It looks like it doesn't have a jewel case at all, and that those paper sleeves are its packaging rather than its 'bonus.'

I love "Life is a Journey"! Great job, Tomo! I like that it brings more of a rock sound than "Sisters" did. Although, I also enjoy "Sisters" too.

I'm so disappointed with new singles. When they announced "Sisters" will be a girls rock anthem I was expecting more powerful melody like "Queens are trumps" or something like that. I like the lyrics of "Sisters", don't know I have a feeling it was written for Tomomi. In general I like "Sisters" more than "Stamp!" (except autotune part, and recycled cover jacket, like WTF?)

for me Sisters is better than Stamp! hehehe but I learned to accept the fact that it's still their song so let be it.the good thing about Sisters is that it made me wanna dance lol I like the groove/dance like concept of the song (but I'm a punkman lol)

It is definitely a CD, and NOT vinyl.
I suppose it could be referred to as a "mini-LP" in a way, although that would be incorrect to use because that term does refer to vinyls. If some stores are calling it that, I imagine they would only be doing so to refer to the fact that the CD is a short 'album' (AKA a single), not a full length one.

Just got my CDJ order today, they were pretty fast this time. Photobook's great for me to say the least, I enjoyed flipping through it more than I did for their past single photobooks. Life Is A Journey sounds great. As much as I don't really like listening to TOMOMI's voice for an entire song, it isn't as bad as I expect. Now just waiting for my HMV copy so I can watch the DVD.

I really like the song now that I heard the rest of it. Tho I was kinda hoping for some cool guitar solo and the fast tempo part to come up again but this is still good. The song reminds me a bit of So easy and Tokyo.

maybe it's due the fact a lot of time has past since the last time we had timo singing, but was her voice always this high pitched? it can be the audio quality or some autotune magic... it's sound a bit too high even for tomo.
tomo's solos are always refreshing and "odd". they can really make the difference sometimes

Thank God TOMOMI's back (although it isn't an A-side yet... maybe the next one). I didn't like the preview, but now the full song's out... What an artistic tune from Timo! A very elaborated composition and a nice counterpart for the up-tempo "Sisters". It also gives me a nostalgic feeling (a mix between "Houkago 1H" and "Bitter Chocolate"?) because it makes me think about that so particular old-school garbage rock sound of them at the beginning, you know? Oh my, they're so grown up now, I'm getting older too... Can't wait for the HQ version and the lyrics. Very well-done work, gurl.
Oh, by the way, her high-pitched vocals for this song didn't bother me. I mean, it's not like I haven't listened to this squeaky voice before (please don't get me wrong when I say "squeaky"; I love the way she sings, it's so sweet and honest). I was tempt to buy both version but didn't had the money so i've just pre-ordered the limited version for the DVD on CDJ. I know that my copy in on the way so i should get it in 5-6 days. I can't wait to hear B-side song and watch the cut of the documentary.
